Bike Central TexasCove is in the middle of miles of scenic, well-maintained, traffic-free paved roads, which makes it a popular area with bicyclists.

The TBi Classic Bike Race, one of the top bike racing events of the year,  is held in Cove annually

  Copperas Cove Birthday Celebration
   

This event brings visitors to Copperas Cove's downtown in March to celebrate Cove's birthday. Music, good food and birthday cake are to be expected.

Jack Rabbit Run 4 HopeThe Jackrabbit Run 4 Hope is a great race through the scenic hill country of the Ogletree Gap residential area. 

  Rabbit Fest
   

Rabbit FestThe annual Rabbit Fest in Copperas Cove features food, craft vendors, live entertainment and more. On the Saturday, a parade winds through the community for people of all ages to enjoy.

  City-Wide Garage Sale
   

Held the first Saturday in June. Over fifty folks display their wares — everything from delicate figurines and wind chimes to used furniture. It's fun and everyone leaves with a bargain.

  National Night Out
   

Downtown comes alive with a rock climbing wall and games for youngsters, McGruff, great food and a chance to climb aboard City police cars and fire trucks.

September

  Gallop or Trot at the Gap
   

This Chip-timed 5k run/walk, sponsored by the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Parks & Recreation Dept, ushers in the Ogletree Gap Heritage Festival.

  Health and Safety Day
   

The Copperas Cove Police Department Seniors and Law Enforcement Together Council will be having a Health and Safety Day on Sept. 10, 2008, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Copperas Cove Civic Center located at 1206 W. Ave B.

Blood pressure checks, cholesterol/blood sugar screenings and health information from Metroplex Hospital and other agencies will be provided at no charge. 

Representatives from the Copperas Cove Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services and other local law enforcement agencies answer questions concerning crime prevention, fire prevention and emergency medical Services.

  Ogletree Gap Heritage Festival
   

Ogletree Gap Heritage FestivalAn annual festival to celebrate the Heritage of Copperas Cove.  This year’s Festival will be bursting with energy with a host of artisans taking part in a diverse and entertaining program of non stop displays, music, kid’s activities, artisan crafts, and the smell of great cooking invading the park. 

  Safe Halloween Celebration
   

On October 31, Downtown merchants stock up with lots of goodies and open their doors to area children. Carnival games are nearby. It's the most concentrated display of Cinderellas and goblins in Central Texas.

  Cove Expo
   

Cove ExpoAttracting about 60 exhibitors - some of Copperas Cove's most respected providers of products and services - the Expo is an excellent opportunity for Cove consumers to explore Cove's marketplace under one roof.

  Krist Kindl Markt
   

A traditional holiday bazaar featuring colorful stalls and open air shopping, unique handcrafted gift items, yummy foods, and dancing, singing and bands to entertain you. The annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is Saturday evening and the festivities continue through the weekend.
